Dr. Kourtenay Green joined the team in July 2016. Kourtenay has a Bachelor of Science from Jackson State University in Biology and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. Prior to joining the team, she practiced dentistry at a nonprofit dental office for ten years. She also has experience as a dental assistant instructor and an administrative director for a school-based mobile dental program for children. HealthWorks! Kids’ Museum St. Louis is currently looking for professionals to join our Board. This is an exciting time for us here at HealthWorks! as we reimagine our future through efforts to increase visibility, develop new programs and exhibits, and look towards a sustainable future!
HealthWorks! Kids’ Museum has recently embarked on a comprehensive campaign. The funds raised will allow us to hire more health educators, increase signage and visibility, and create new exhibits for both the museum and traveling exhibits. We hope you will consider joining us in achieving our vision to make an impact on our community while we inspire and excite kids with the knowledge and tools to live healthy lives.
This is a great opportunity for professionals to flex their creative expertise and have ownership of the only health-related museum in St. Louis. We started out as The Dental Health Theatre (on the landing) in 1977 and have since moved behind the Science Center with enough space to encompass all aspects of overall health.
There are multiple board openings available and we need individuals skilled in marketing, fundraising, business outreach and partnerships. We also have a board opening for an attorney and an accountant.
…………………………………. If you have any of these skills, we want you! ………………………………….
Contact Dr. Craig Hollander at [email protected] for more information.
Committee Members
We encourage community members with interest in making a difference in the health of our region’s children to consider joining one of our committees. If you are interested, please contact Dr. Craig Hollander at [email protected] and let him know which committee(s) you’d like to be a part of.
